Secure Web Application Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Secure Web Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our web applications.


Main Responsibilities:
  1. Security Assessments: Perform comprehensive security assessments of web applications using industry-standard guidelines and best practices.
  2. Code Reviews: Conduct manual code reviews on source code repositories to identify potential security risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  3. API Security: Review APIs and container configurations to ensure secure integration with other systems.
  4. Database Security: Analyze database security requirements to enhance overall security posture.
  5. Web Server Security: Recommend configuration changes to improve web server security.
  6. Misconfiguration Identification: Identify misconfigurations in system configurations and provide solutions to rectify them.
  7. TLS/SSL Security: Assess transport layer security mechanisms and controls to ensure secure communication channels.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in web application security.
  • Strong knowledge of OWASP top 10 guidelines and CVSS scoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
