Head Mine Planner

Our organization is expanding its mining operations to meet increasing demand. As part of this growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Mine Planning professional.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, optimizing, and executing our mining projects. This involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including geological teams, engineers, and other support functions.

Responsibilities:

• Resource Modelling: Develop accurate models to inform mine planning decisions.
• Pit Optimization: Apply mathematical techniques to optimize pit design and reduce costs.
• Scheduling: Create detailed schedules for mining operations, taking into account equipment availability and resource constraints.
• DPR Preparation: Lead the preparation of detailed project reports (DPRs) for new mining blocks.
• Mining Plan Preparation: Develop comprehensive mining plans that meet statutory and operational requirements.
• Exploration Programmes: Conduct exploration programmes, including in-fill drilling, to identify new resources.
• Liaison with Statutory Bodies: Collaborate with government agencies to secure necessary approvals and clearances.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 60% aggregate marks throughout education.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering with over 10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of project planning tools, including MS Project, Primavera, and Auto-CAD.
• Proven leadership in mining approvals and operations.
• Excellent understanding of statutory clearances and government guidelines.
