Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Web Solutions Architect to design, develop and maintain functional, user-friendly and visually appealing websites on multiple platforms.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in various web development frameworks including WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace. They will also possess solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery as well as experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN and debugging tools like Chrome Inspector or Firebug.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand website design, functionality and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain websites across multiple platforms.
  • Customize and build front-end and back-end solutions including themes, plugins and server integrations.
  • Conduct performance tests, troubleshoot issues and ensure optimal website functionality.
  • Manage website hosting, DNS, databases and perform timely security updates.
  • Ensure smooth project delivery from wireframe to final deployment (go-live).
  • Provide post-launch training and support to clients as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in web development.
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN) and debugging tools (Chrome Inspector, Firebug).
  • Hands-on experience with website architecture, e-commerce platforms and UI/UX design.
  • Knowledge of DNS, hosting, databases and backup management.
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused and problem-solving mindset.
