Software Engineer in Test Position

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.">
  • Work closely with QA, development and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software at speed.">

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Architect, implement and maintain automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing.">
  • Develop and extend test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration and unit testing.">
  • Configure and schedule nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub Actions">
  • Analyse test results, triage failures and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.">
  • Write clear, maintainable and reusable test code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.">
  • Continuously improve test coverage, performance and reliability.">
  • Mentor junior QA engineers on automation tools and techniques.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.">
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.">
  • Proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.">
  • Experience building and maintaining test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Jest).">
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps: pipelines, repos, artifacts and test plans.">
  • Working knowledge of AWS: provisioning, IAM and basic troubleshooting.">
  • Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews).">
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.">
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.">

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).">
  • Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).">
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Application Insights, CloudWatch, Datadog).">
  • Certification in ISTQB, AWS or Azure DevOps.">
