We are seeking a highly skilled Product Strategist and SDLC Champion to join our team at Danfoss. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic roadmap for our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) toolchain.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders, including business teams, cross-functional teams, project managers, and architects to define and drive the strategic roadmap for the SDLC toolchain. You will communicate product vision, progress, and priorities to stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business needs, pain points, and processes in software development to ensure the toolchain's usability, effectiveness, and alignment with end-user expectations.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business value for the complete SDLC toolchain.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to onboard tools, establishing architecture, structure, guidelines, and policies around tool utilization.
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues to ensure the delivery of top-tier support for the toolchain to end users.
  • Explore opportunities for cost savings through understanding licensing agreements and pricing structures.
  • Foster cultural alignment and cooperation with stakeholders in the development teams and IT, offering professional advice on SDLC tools and methodologies.
  • Maintain standard documentation for our processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Product Owner in the field of PLM tool chain.
  • Strong knowledge in a range of tools used in embedded and non-embedded application software development life cycle.
  • Experience in large product development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of Azure DevOps, Polarion, and GIT CI/CD, IBM Tools, and cloud.
  • Knowledge of software languages/scripts (C++, C#, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Team Spirit and good communication skills.
  • Structured and organized approach.
