As a Senior Secondary Teacher of Informatics Practices, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a productive learning environment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.

The following are key areas of focus for this position:

  • Lesson Delivery
  • Classroom Functioning
  • Administration

Lesson Delivery:

You will be responsible for effectively preparing each lesson plan, attending relevant workshops, and seeking clarification when necessary. You will introduce the objectives of the lesson plan in a logical and clear manner and teach according to the instructions given. Additionally, you will utilize various teaching aids, resources, activities, and assignments listed in the lesson plan to create a meaningful learning experience.

Classroom Functioning:

Your duties will include creating a conducive learning environment, arranging the classroom appropriately, and maintaining professional relationships with parents. You will also identify student needs, coordinate with colleagues to assess and address problems, and update the coordinator about any significant incidents or episodes related to the classroom.

Administration:

As an administrator, you will follow professional practices consistent with school systems and policies. This includes maintaining accurate records, providing relevant information, and maintaining confidentiality of students and their records. You will also assist the coordinator in updating records and lists as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience in Artificial Intelligence (Grade 9&10) and Informatics Practices (Grade 11&12)
  • Able to motivate and mentor students

  • Effective communication skills
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Problem-solving capability
