Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Specialist to join our team at PhonePe in Bangalore, India.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a best-in-class commercial contracts function that serves internal business and control stakeholders while mitigating risks. Key responsibilities include standardising contract templates, improving drafting and review processes, leading contractual negotiations, and providing expert legal advice on various aspects of business.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience with a strong understanding of corporate law, employment laws, business laws, and data privacy practices.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills, with exposure to a variety of contracts including complex IT/software development, licensing, real estate, and vendor/supplier/employment/service contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills, good interpersonal skills, and a high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Good negotiation skills and general commercial acumen.

We offer a competitive salary package of ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
