Hardware Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation, networking, and camera infrastructure systems.

About the Role

As a Hardware Engineer at our company, you will work on CCTV hardware, networking protocols, PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems, ensuring seamless integration, testing, commissioning, and long-term system reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Instrumentation Systems: Design and develop instrumentation systems and hardware solutions that meet our high standards for quality and performance.
  • CCTV System Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and test CCTV systems and associated hardware, including networking and camera infrastructure.
  • System Performance Management: Manage and maintain system performance, reliability, and uptime through regular monitoring and preventive maintenance.
  • Networking Protocol Configuration: Configure and optimize TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and other network protocols for seamless connectivity.
  • System Diagnostics and Testing: Conduct system diagnostics and performance tests, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Integration with IT Infrastructure: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with existing IT and security infrastructure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
  • Strong hands-on experience with CCTV, camera infrastructure, and networking hardware.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and networking protocols.
  • Experience in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain hardware and surveillance systems.
