Software Quality Assurance Specialist

 

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to drive quality across our software products. This role involves designing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will work closely with development teams to identify, track, and resolve issues while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, cases, and automation frameworks.

• Design and maintain automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing.

• Conduct regression, exploratory, and usability testing.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with developers for resolution.

• Create and maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.

• Ensure compliance with security and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO). 

• Provide test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in software testing and automation.

• Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner).

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
