Job Title: Video Editor

A Dynamic Content Creator position at our organization seeks a skilled and creative Video Editor to produce high-quality visual content for digital platforms.

This role requires strong storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing principles.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for creating engaging video content that aligns with our brand tone and objectives. About the Role:

  1. Edit short and long-form video content for various digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns.
  2. Collaborate closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that meet brand standards.
  3. Trim footage segments, assemble sequences, and add transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
  4. Create motion graphics and simple animations in Adobe After Effects or similar tools to elevate video content.
  5. Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
  6. Stay up-to-date with video trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
  7. Handle basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.
  8. Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and delivered in required formats and resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media or social platforms.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
  • A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing.
  • Familiarity with video formats and best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
