We are seeking an experienced Memory Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing memory compilers and memory Fast Cache instances for our next generation Cores. Your primary focus will be on achieving outstanding Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) metrics.
Responsibilities:
Develop memory compilers and memory Fast Cache instances using advanced design methodologies and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate memory designs into our next-generation Cores. Optimize memory designs for PPA, ensuring they meet or exceed project requirements. Perform simulations and verification to ensure functionality and quality. Work closely with the design team to resolve any design issues or conflicts. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in memory design. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Contribute to the development of new design flows and methodologies. Ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed project requirements. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the design team. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues. Lead small-scale projects and initiatives as needed. Attend meetings and contribute to discussions on design methodologies, tooling, and best practices. Promote knowledge sharing and learning across the design team. Enhance overall design quality and reliability through continuous improvement efforts. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of memory design principles, architectures, and technologies. Utilize expertise to inform design decisions and drive innovative solutions. Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes as needed. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Troubleshoot complex design issues and provide creative solutions. Analyze and optimize memory designs for power consumption, area, and performance. Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure memory designs meet project requirements. Maintain accurate records of design decisions, results, and findings. Present design progress and results to senior management and stakeholders. Drive design excellence through collaboration, innovation, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. Participate in regular design review meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Engage in active learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements. Create and maintain detailed documentation of design processes, procedures, and outcomes. Collaborate with other teams to identify and address potential design risks. Foster strong relationships with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve design issues. Document and share knowledge gained from design experiences and lessons learned. Ensure compliance with relevant design standards, regulations, and policies. Lead and participate in design-related training and workshops.
