**About The Team**

Namaste Credit's Security Development team is responsible for designing and building critical security services, including Detection and Response Automation, Secrets Management, and Identity and Access Management. Our goal is to provide robust libraries, frameworks, and services that empower our engineers to build secure applications.

**Location Details**

We operate in a hybrid model based in Hyderabad, allowing us to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

**About The Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Security Development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and implementing authentication and authorization services for the IAM platform.
  2. Maintaining IAM platform documentation to ensure high-quality, secure solutions.
  3. Developing secure-by-default libraries and frameworks that standardize security in our codebases.
  4. Contributing to the monitoring and stability of our existing services.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Security, and IT, to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in building new backend services using a high-level programming language (e.g., Golang, Python).
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization services to industry standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), or SAML.
  • A deep understanding of what constitutes high-quality systems, including application security, performance, testing, documentation, and operational excellence.
  • A sense of ownership and responsibility for the solutions you develop.
  • Preference for automating repetitive tasks in testing, workflows, and operations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas.
  • Experience with microservice-oriented architectures on a cloud computing platform (e.g., AWS EKS, GKE, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code / Platform-as-a-Service (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes).
  • A passion for security, both in and out of the workplace.
