Job Title: Audit Leadership Position

About the Role:

We seek a seasoned audit professional with strong technical skills and leadership abilities to lead large audit teams across multiple verticals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead statutory audits independently from planning through final reporting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Manage multiple teams and their team leads, responsible for staffing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure alignment with auditing standards.
  • Cross-functional coordination with tax, finance, and legal teams to identify control gaps and compliance issues.
  • Client management, owning client relationships and acting as the single point of contact for escalations, walkthroughs, and closure.
  • Risk-based auditing, applying risk assessment methodology to focus audit effort on high-impact areas.
  • Regulatory awareness, including Companies Act, Income Tax Act, SEBI regulations, and other applicable laws.
  • Tech-driven approach, leveraging audit tools, checklists, and digital documentation systems to improve turnaround time and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of statutory audit experience.
  • Independent operator with a proven track record of independently closing audits without supervision.
  • Team leader with experience managing multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Subject matter expert in financial statement preparation & review.
  • Strong legal acumen, including working knowledge of Companies Act and other allied laws.
  • Deadline-oriented, thrives under pressure, and delivers audits on time—every time.
  • Excellent communication skills for client presentations, board reporting, and team guidance.
