Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to lead our financial planning and commercial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans, analysing business performance, managing budgets and commercial arrangements, and partnering with business managers to drive financial success.


The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial management, including pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and financial analysis. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting for short and long-term goals
  • Analyse business performance, including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods sold
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and commercial arrangements
  • Lead role in advising on pricing for commercial contracts
  • Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget
  • Partner with business managers to drive financial performance
  • Support the Sales and Marketing department by conducting analysis of commercial opportunities
  • Prepare models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities
  • Supervise staff, including Management or Divisional Accountants, and review their work
  • Take a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise
