Job Title:

Data Engineering Manager

As a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of experience, you will lead the development and communication of a clear platform vision to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business, and security) to define priorities and solve challenges.
  • Design end-to-end data pipelines leveraging AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
  • Implement data product storage, processing, and APIs using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data architecture strategies to enable scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Lead design reviews and technical discussions to ensure secure and scalable implementations.
  • Mentor team members on secure coding practices, compliance, and architectural principles.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Big data and Analytics ecosystem (Airflow, Spark, Python, Flink, AWS Batch, S3, Athena, ECS-Fargate, SQS).
