Electronics Hardware Design, Technical Expert Job Description

This is a technical expert position focused on electronics hardware design. The ideal candidate will have expertise in embedded communication device hardware testing and validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute embedded product hardware validation, ensuring compliance with Electrical Safety, EMI-EMC, Environmental, and Metering standards.
  • Develop and implement test plans based on interfaces such as RS 485, Ethernet, and others.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and testing of critical components like Micro Controllers, Processors, Communication switches, LCD displays, FPGA, and Analog Digital circuits.
  • Design and develop high-reliability controller electronics and power switching circuitry for board-level implementations.
  • Troubleshoot complex electronics issues using analytical skills and problem-solving techniques.
  • Debug electronic circuits and conduct testing and troubleshooting functions with the assistance of written or verbal descriptions/diagrams.
  • Utilize RF Test equipment such as Anritsu 8820, CMU-200, Agilent 8960, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Power meter, and possess knowledge of Communication Protocols like Modbus.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in electronics hardware design, embedded system testing, and validation.
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Safety, EMI-EMC, Environmental, and Metering standards.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and tools used for electronics hardware design and testing.
  • Familiarity with Communication Protocols like Modbus.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical information effectively.
