We are seeking a skilled Furniture Designer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and constructing wooden furniture and upholstered products, as well as knowledge of market trends and manufacturing techniques.
The successful candidate will have strong 3D modeling skills and be proficient in creating pre-production product renders and technical drawings. They will also have excellent communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to work effectively with both designers and craftsmen.
The role will involve working closely with our operations team to create product samples and coordinate with vendors and craftsmen to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and construction of wooden furniture and upholstered products
- Product design and market trend analysis
- Collaboration with labour and operations team on product sample creation and manufacturing techniques
- Work with QC team to set standards for finished products
- Experience working with various materials and fabrics
- Strong 3D modeling skills and proficiency in creating pre-production product renders and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Design Graduate from NIFT/NID or other institutes, specialising in Lifestyle Product Accessory Designs or Furniture Design
- Hands-on experience in Design and Development, specifically in Home Décor, Furniture and Craft Clusters
- Knowledge of production coordination with craftsmen, medium and large scale factory production of such products
- Understanding of managing production schedule, production process, coordination with various vendors and craftsmen
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
- Strong technical skills in Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Auto CAD/3D Max, Adobe inDesign, Corel Draw, Key shot etc.
