Technical Consultant for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

This is a pivotal role in helping businesses streamline their financial and operational processes. As a Technical Consultant, you will analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using D365 F&O.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement customizations, integrations, and extensions using Microsoft technologies such as X++, Azure, Power Platform, and Logic Apps.
  • Configure core modules like Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, and Project Management.
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows, business processes, and data migration strategies.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and governance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with D365 F&O implementation or support.
  • Strong knowledge of X++ programming, AOT (Application Object Tree), and D365 F&O architecture.
  • Experience with data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF).
  • Familiarity with integration tools such as Azure Logic Apps, API Management, and Power Automate.
  • Understanding of cloud deployment models (Azure, SaaS).
  • Knowledge of security models, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance standards.
  • Experience with source control such as Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer Associate.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices in D365 F&O environments.
  • Experience with AL (Application Language) and modern development practices in D.
