Role Summary:

Perform comprehensive end-to-end quality assurance testing for Guidewire Claims Center (GWCC) implementations. Develop and execute detailed test plans, validate data integrity, and ensure high-quality delivery in commercial insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute thorough test strategies, scenarios, and cases.
  • Estimate work requirements, plan resources, and ensure timely, quality delivery of software solutions.
  • Analyze, track, and retest QA/UAT/Production issues to resolve defects.
  • Coordinate with business analysts, development teams, and management stakeholders for clarifications.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
  • Utilize test management tools, such as JIRA or Rally, for efficient tracking and reporting.

Technical Skills:

  • Guidewire Claims Center integration and configuration testing is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 full GWCC implementation cycles in commercial insurance are required.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data validation, and migrations/conversions is necessary.
  • Experience with SOAP UI, XML comprehension, and mainframe/SAP integration testing is beneficial.
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience is highly valued.

General Skills:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.
  • Experience in property and casualty insurance (commercial preferred) is valuable.

Education:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
