Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Python, Selenium, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to join our team. As a key member of our Agile environment, you will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end test activities, including test strategy, plan, conditions, scripts, data, reporting, and execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Test Managers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to assess test scenarios and define test requirements using risk-based testing methodology.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Python (BDD frameworks like SpecFlow / Python Behave).
  • Perform web application, web services, and REST API automation testing.
  • Manage defect lifecycle and ensure quality deliverables within timelines.
  • Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities in QA delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear test updates and risk reporting.
  • Work proactively in ambiguous/uncertain environments, managing risks effectively.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 7+ years of QA experience (minimum 4+ years in Selenium BDD framework).
  • Strong expertise in Python for automation testing.
  • Hands-on in Selenium WebDriver, BDD (SpecFlow / Behave).
  • QA automation for Web Applications, Web Services, REST APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and manual testing practices.
  • Skilled in test case design, execution (manual + automation), and QA methodologies.
