About the Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team as a Java Production Support Specialist. This is a critical position that requires strong technical expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a passion for resolving production issues and contributing to development efforts.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Utilize analytical skills to resolve complex customer/field technical escalations from various teams.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported problems.
  • Participate in daily meetings to update the development team about ongoing escalation statuses.
  • Own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Develop tools and techniques to facilitate root cause analysis using available data and code base insights.
  • Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Product management to identify and implement backlog requirements adding value to the product.

Required Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support with a focus on escalations.
  • Experience working as an L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
  • Proficiency in software development using Java technologies.
  • Familiarity with MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Understanding of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience troubleshooting and assisting with root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issues.
  • Passion for problem-solving, integrity, and attention to detail while performing tasks.
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
