Job Title: Senior AS400 RPG Programmer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior AS400 RPG Programmer to join our team.

  • 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG Programming is required
  • A strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE is essential
  • Query/400 – Experience with ILE Advanced concepts (procedures, service programs, functions, free RPG coding syntax)
  • Experience with complex SQL concepts and programming – Experience with FTP concepts and Automation

The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of:

  • Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts
  • CL & OS/400 commands
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL/400 and other AS/400 utilities
Responsibilities
  • Perform iSeries/AS400 Technical Support & Operations CL Programming skills for automation
  • Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment is desired
  • Provide Technical Support during testing
  • Assist in Deployment and provide Post-Deployment Support
  • Interaction with the client team independently
  • Experienced in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS)

  • iSeries/AS400 Technical Support & Operations CL Programming skills
