US Insurance Sector Research Position

This role involves tracking the US insurance sector for an equity research analyst at a sell-side firm. The position requires financial analysis skills, knowledge of accounting and valuation concepts, as well as strong Excel abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build comprehensive financial models to support coverage initiations and earnings updates.
  • Contribute to initiation notes, earnings notes, and other reports.
  • Search and aggregate data related to the sector and companies.
  • Provide data and analysis based on client requests.
  • Develop and update sector databases.
  • Prepare and update marketing presentations.
  • Work on special assignments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in equity research, preferably covering the insurance/insurance tech sector.
