Job Title:

Hypervisor System Administrator Position

  • The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of ESX installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including VCenter 6.0, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0, and 8.0.
  • Strong understanding of Systems Hardware, Enterprise Level Systems infrastructure, Datacenter Operations, network technologies, and industry standards and audit requirements is essential.

About the Role:

The Hypervisor System Administrator will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting virtualization software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of systems hardware, enterprise-level systems infrastructure, datacenter operations, and network technologies.

Requirements:

  1. At least 8 years of experience in system administration, specifically in VMware operations and implementations.
  2. Extensive knowledge of ESX installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including VCenter 6.0, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0, and 8.0.
  3. Good knowledge of Compellent Storage and experience migrating large infrastructures from physical to virtual environments.
  4. Solid knowledge in VMware vSphere, VMotion, HA, DRS.
  5. Strong understanding of systems hardware, enterprise-level systems infrastructure, datacenter operations, network technologies, and industry standards and audit requirements.
