We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented UX designer to lead the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality UI solutions.
You will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior designers, providing technical leadership and support. Your role will also involve evaluating the technical feasibility of designs and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
In addition, you will implement and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use. You will conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
As a seasoned professional, you will stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in UX design.
You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality UI solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing technical leadership and support.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in UX design.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 13+ years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Unit Testing, and modern frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with UX design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies and integration with front-end systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
