Compliance Officer Job Description

This role involves ensuring all regulatory submissions are periodically uploaded in the IRDA portal, post concurrence with relevant stakeholders. Additionally, tracking and aligning regulatory registers with respective business units and BIU teams for submission to IRDAI is a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Submissions: Ensure all regulatory submissions are periodically uploaded in the IRDA portal, post concurrence with relevant stakeholders.
  • Register Alignment: Track and align regulatory registers with respective business units and BIU teams for submission to IRDAI.
  • Regulator Communication: Communicate with regulators as per regulations, including branch openings/closures, directorship changes, and levied regulatory charges.
  • Licence Renewal: Renew licenses, such as CA/ISNP/Envoy, ensuring timely applicability and coordination with stakeholders.
  • NOC Issuance: Issue NOCs for exited SPs and detag PAN from IRDA & Envoy, maintaining records.
  • Telemarketing Licence: Apply for telemarketing licenses and submit regulatory data to IRDAI according to guidelines.
  • License Monitoring: Monitor and renew various licenses, agreements, and SLAs with insurers and product teams.
  • Grievance Tracking: Track grievances and coordinate resolutions with insurers, business, product, and branch teams.
  • Audit Initiation: Initiate audits and track resolution for branches, providing audit checklists and coordinating with functional audit teams.
  • Compliance Checks: Conduct compliance checks on AML cases and provide checklists to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Litigation Bookkeeping: Bookkeep litigation of insurance cases, update regulators as needed, and perform other delegated activities.
