Chief Veterinary Orthopedic Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in soft tissue surgeries to join our team at Fairy Tails. This role will be instrumental in delivering advanced surgical services, addressing both orthopedic and soft tissue needs of our patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting a range of orthopedic procedures, including fracture repairs and joint surgeries.
• Diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring effective post-operative care and support.
• Collaborating with the Fairy Tails veterinary team on complex cases, providing specialized input for optimal patient outcomes.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in performing various soft tissue surgeries, including abdominal, thoracic, and reconstructive procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• BVSc. or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• MVSc. in veterinary orthopedic surgery.
• At least 2-3 years of experience performing orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in diagnostic imaging relevant to orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, including radiography, and ultrasound.
• In-depth knowledge of surgical protocols and best practices in orthopedic and soft tissue procedures.
