Job Title

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer who can design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. This role requires expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, API architecture, and microservices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for eCommerce and automation platforms.
  • Architect and optimize microservices for performance, resilience, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end, AI, and infrastructure teams to integrate services seamlessly.
  • Ensure APIs are secure, well-documented, and developer-friendly.
  • Debug, monitor, and improve existing API endpoints to reduce latency and improve throughput.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and back-end development.
  • Solid experience building and scaling APIs (REST, GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ORMs.
  • Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about system design.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with API gateways (Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with AI/automation integrations.
  • Background in eCommerce or payment systems.
