Job Title: Optometrist
  • An eye care professional will greet and welcome all walk-in customers, guiding them toward the clinic to promote a free eye check-up.
  • Based on the eye test and customer preference, he/she shares requirements with the sales team to present an optimal selection of products.
  • During the eye check, he/she thoroughly explains the process and duration to the customer, building a rapport and converting the check-up into sales.
  • He/she shares the prescription clearly, educating the customer about single vision and progressive lenses, recommending the appropriate lens and/or frames.
  • The optometrist aims to achieve assigned targets for sales, eye-check conversion, and returns, diligently following SOPs.
  • After making a sale, he/she coordinates product pickup with the customer upon receiving due communication from the warehouse, verifying the accuracy of fitted lenses before handing over the product.
  • In case of returns, he/she understands the reason and tries to resolve it to control return percentage.
  • He/she is involved in stocktakes, maintaining sales floor standards, and other day-to-day tasks to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
  • He/she maintains store hygiene by cleaning equipment regularly and ensures security of all store equipment.
