Project Manager Role Overview

As a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in managing civil and interior works, you will lead the execution of projects from retail showrooms, hotels, and commercial interiors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers and supervisors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee civil, interior work, and MEP works, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor and report work progress to the VP engineering, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and PMO for verification, validation, and certification of bills.
  • Promote QA and QC practices, prepare snag lists, and follow up with contractors to ensure de-snagging and handover to operations teams.
  • Ensure all works are carried out as per approved design drawings, documents, contract technical specifications, and quality plans.
  • Review manpower requirements, allocate work fronts, and issue non-compliance reports when deviations are noticed.
  • Forecast material requirements, inform PMO, and meet schedule and targets assigned by the VP.
  • Track planned vs. actual progress in terms of schedule, resources, and cost, ensuring a smooth flow of works.

A working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project is mandatory. If you have handled project cost estimation, approvals, site expenses, and coordination with PMO, you'll thrive in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing large-scale projects are essential. You should have a deep understanding of project management principles, including scope, time, cost, and quality.
