Cyber Security Engineer Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures protecting our systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security solutions safeguarding IT infrastructure, applications, and sensitive information.
  • Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches, anomalies, and emerging threats.
  • Regularly conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, DevOps, and Compliance to ensure unparalleled cybersecurity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Protect against cyber threats through advanced threat detection and incident response strategies.
  2. Design and implement robust security frameworks aligning with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
  3. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and threats to recommend mitigation strategies and optimize security postures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GIAC.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Educate employees and developers on cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices, fostering a culture of security within the organization.
