We are looking for a seasoned Database Administrator to oversee our database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our data systems while providing critical support to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain databases
- Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies
- Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and database design
- Conduct regular audits and updates to maintain system health
- Automate routine tasks using scripting
- Document database architecture, procedures, and standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a DBA
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
- Hands-on experience with Oracle tools
- Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization
- Knowledge of database security protocols and user access controls
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Oracle DBA certification is a plus

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with cloud-based database solutions
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Understanding of database replication and clustering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
