Job Title: Data Management Specialist

This is a critical role in our organization requiring strong technical expertise in storage and backup solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise-grade storage infrastructure. Key responsibilities include performing daily monitoring and reporting tasks for large storage devices and tape libraries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure various storage technologies.
  • Manage storage devices and perform routine checks.
  • Troubleshoot SAN and NAS environments.
  • Develop and execute data backup and restore plans.
  • Use monitoring tools to ensure system performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues.
  • Work on multi-platform systems including Windows, Linux, Unix, and Solaris.
  • Apply scripting knowledge for automation tasks.
  • Support storage platforms from leading vendors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in storage and backup technologies.
  • Strong understanding of storage concepts and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS environments and enterprise storage management.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and alert mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for system administration.
  • Understanding of multiple operating systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
