Job Title: Scaffolding Supervisor

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly experienced scaffolding professional to ensure all scaffolding is safe and compliant with industry standards.

  • Applicants must have at least 4-5 years' experience in the oil and gas field, with a strong understanding of scaffolding scope of work.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to progress monitoring of scaffolding tagging is crucial.
  • Sound knowledge of various scaffolding types, materials, and erection procedures for different elevations is essential.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for scaffold inspection, maintenance, and registration.
  • A thorough pre-use inspection of scaffolds before each work period or where a scaffold has been altered, adjusted, or subjected to rain or heavy winds is mandatory.
  • Responsible for the tagging system and ensuring that the area where a scaffold is to be positioned is inspected, and a competent person is appointed to maintain works on the scaffold and staging.
  • Conducting a comprehensive HSE Risk Assessment and toolbox discussion prior to any activities involving working at heights is a priority.
  • Closely collaborating with the Scaffolding Inspector to certify all types of scaffolding for use and recommend changes as required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, as English language proficiency is required.
