Revenue Accounting Expertise for Professional Growth

Our organization is seeking a skilled Revenue Accountant to lead end-to-end revenue accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely recognition in compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive revenue schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end close.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and FP&A teams to assess deal structures and ensure alignment with revenue recognition policies.
  • Analyze deferred revenue billing schedules and revenue forecasts to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance systems teams to enhance automation and reporting capabilities related to revenue.

Requirements for Success:

  • 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or revenue recognition, preferably in a SaaS technology or services environment.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and practical application in complex contract scenarios.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and revenue sub-ledgers or modules.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and reconciliations; experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with finance, legal, and sales teams.
