We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead our data engineering initiatives. This role requires expertise in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data architectures using Python, SQL, and Pyspark
  • Orchestrate workflows using Airflow and manage data infrastructure on AWS and Databricks
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all data processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Provide support for existing data systems and troubleshoot issues effectively
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify and resolve defects
  • Drive continuous improvement in data engineering practices and team productivity

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture
  • Proven experience in leading and managing data engineering teams
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Pyspark, Airflow, AWS, Databricks, and Data Warehousing
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies
  • Prior experience in support and maintenance projects
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
