Key Responsibilities
  • Solve complex technical issues within live production environments, providing expert advice on software configuration and tuning for optimal performance.
  • Drive initiatives to automate issue resolution, minimizing recurrent problems and improving overall system reliability.
  • Design, develop, and deploy software layers, scripts, deployment frameworks, tracers, monitors, self-healing/auto-remediation tools, and automation processes.
  • Ensure business continuity by identifying opportunities to create highly resilient and human-free systems.
  • Engage in thorough troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of issues, even after self-healing and automation have been implemented.
  • Participate in a shared on-call schedule.
  • Improve software observability by implementing effective monitoring, tracing, and logging.
  • Maintain excellent social skills in interactions with internal and external developers, engineering, and support groups.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Public Cloud administration (AWS & Azure).
  • 6+ years of proficiency in high-level programming languages (Python, Bash scripting).
