Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing automation frameworks for mobile and web applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating scalable mobile automation tests with Appium or native mobile tools, writing clean and maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript, implementing BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin if required, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github Actions, or GitLab CI.

In addition, the candidate will conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to work on complex projects and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Solid experience in mobile automation, preferably using Appium or equivalent tool.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, integration.
  • Proficient in writing BDD scenarios (if tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber).
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of REST API testing tools (Postman, JMeter, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in Agile teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
