Philanthropy Leader

About the Role:

We seek a seasoned Chief Philanthropy Officer to drive our fundraising strategy and build a robust network of supporters.

This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing an annual fundraising plan that aligns with our philanthropic goals. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to create a comprehensive roadmap for fundraising, outlining clear objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in business or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership position. Experience with social sector organizations is preferred.

Apart from technical skills, we are looking for a driven and empathetic leader who can work across boundaries, get things done, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You should have strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and an executive presence, with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a comprehensive fundraising strategy, outlining clear short-, medium-, and long-term objectives
• Develop a national network of supporters, strengthening existing relationships and adding new champions and donors
• Build a diversified portfolio approach to fundraising, ensuring effort and target distribution across different sources
