Job Overview:

At 6sense, we're seeking an experienced Data Research Specialist to join our Data Operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing large volumes of data, supporting our Product and Tech teams with data validation, analysis, and updates.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough research on data from secondary sources, ensuring accuracy based on assigned tasks in excel or similar tools.
  2. Enhance the quality and accuracy of datasets by identifying, researching, and resolving errors flagged by internal teams or customers.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define research objectives, methodologies, and deliverables, providing insights and recommendations to key decision-makers.
  4. Conduct rigorous quality checks on all research outputs and implement processes to streamline data collection, validation, and reporting.
  5. Prepare comprehensive research reports, presentations, and briefs for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
  6. Onboard and train junior research specialists, helping them improve productivity and understanding of data processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, data analytics, computer science, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data research, analysis, or operations is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies, including both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to assess situations and make informed decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
