Temenos Treasury Opportunities

The Associate Principal Product Analyst will play a key role in a high-performing team, crucial to the success of our Treasury product. This position involves translating product strategy and market requirements into world-class products, working closely with customers, product development, internal clients, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive the collection, description, analysis, and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects, serving as a primary product expert and evangelist.
  2. Collaborate with development teams to coordinate development and release processes for assigned products.
  3. Analyze customer needs and align the product roadmap with strategic goals, working with internal and external customers.
  4. Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the development team.
  5. Ensure thorough testing of new software before release, working with Quality Assurance teams.
  6. Meet established metrics, deadlines, and record-keeping obligations.
  7. Support marketing and sales efforts through product marketing collateral creation, including customer presentations, sales training guides, and product brochures.
  8. Conduct product demonstrations at trade shows, seminars, and other events.
  9. Contribute to the Product Roadmap by monitoring market trends, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes.
  10. Mentor junior business analysts in the team.

Suitable Skills and Qualifications

  1. 7-10 years of experience in a top-tier software company or bank, with a focus on Treasury and Capital Market Systems.
  2. Practical knowledge of Agile SDLC.
  3. Strong documentation and analysis skills.
  4. Specific knowledge of Treasury operations, processes, and solutions is preferred.
  5. Sound understanding of at least one asset class (FX, Derivatives, Fixed Income & MM) is essential.
  6. Experience in a bank's Treasury, with a good understanding of front, middle, and back-office operations, is preferred.
  7. Working knowledge of treasury and capital market systems such as Murex, Kondor+, Calypso, Bloomberg, Eikon is an added advantage.
  8. Experience in working across teams in Software Development, Quality Assurance, Consulting, and Product Support.
  9. Implementation of enterprise business applications is desirable.
  10. Ability to communicate and interact with internal stakeholders and clients, providing precise and detailed reports and information.
