Job Overview:

We seek a meticulous video quality reviewer to enhance our video content.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of video production standards, ensuring all content meets editorial, technical, and creative benchmarks.

The role involves reviewing and approving videos for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with quality guidelines before publication on digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate videos for alignment with templates, styles, and mandated requirements.
  • Cross-check scripts and grammar, pronunciation, and command over the English language across visuals and audio.

Technical Quality Assessment:

  • Inspect videos for technical quality, including resolution, color grading, transitions, audio levels, and overall synchronization.
  • Flag and guide corrections for issues such as poor framing, sound inconsistencies, or graphical errors.

Compliance & Ethical Standards:

  • Ensure videos meet legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines, including copyright and fair use laws.
  • Verify that sensitive topics are handled with appropriate editorial care.

Collaboration & Feedback:

  • Work closely with video producers and editors to provide constructive feedback.
  • Develop and maintain quality checklists and guidelines for consistent reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in video editing, production, or quality assurance within a media organization.

Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of journalistic principles and editorial integrity.
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and quality assurance tools.
