Job Opportunity:

The Linux Support Engineer plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining both physical and virtualized servers. This position requires expertise in virtualization tools, network and tool management, protocol and communication management, problem analysis and resolution, scripting and automation, collaboration and communication, and people management and leadership.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage, configure, and maintain servers, including installation, configuration, and remote management of operating systems and essential services.
  • Work with virtualization tools such as Proxmox, SolusVM, Virtualizor, and Hyper-V to optimize server performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth operations of DNS, email servers, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, IIS, and MSSQL by handling tools like cPanel/WHM, Plesk, routers, and switches.
  • Monitor hardware, applications, and network status and proactively resolve issues through effective communication with clients and strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages to automate and streamline processes, and proficiency in on-premise virtualization tools.
  • Collaborate and manage team performance to ensure high-quality service delivery, provide mentorship and guidance to teammates, and lead technical operations in mission-critical hosting infrastructure environments.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a web hosting industry.
  • Expertise in cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and server environments (Linux and Windows).
  • Proficiency in on-premise virtualization tools (Proxmox, SolusVM, Virtualizor)
  • Experience with Automation Deployment using Ansible or NOC-PS.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Librenms, Zabbix, Icinga2, Grafana/Prometheus/AlertManager Stack.
  • Strong understanding of networking and server fundamentals, DNS, and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Marathi/Hindi/English Communication skills are necessary for this role.
