Product Design Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and creative Product Design Assistant to join our innovative design team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will assist in sketching new product concepts, develop 3D CAD models using design software, create high-quality renders to visualize product aesthetics and functionality, collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs are manufacturable, and conduct research on materials, ergonomics, and design trends to enhance product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop sketches for new product concepts.
  • Design and model products using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Produce visually appealing renders that demonstrate product functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineers to guarantee product manufacturing feasibility.
  • Test and refine product designs through prototyping and iteration.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Autodesk Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar.
  • Strong sketching and visualization skills.
  • Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and aesthetic sense.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with advanced design tools like Fusion or Keyshot.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping tools including 3D printing and metal prototyping.
  • Passion for problem-solving and customer-centric design.
