Lead SAP Basis Consultant

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of SAP Basis services. The ideal candidate will possess strong SAP Basis expertise, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience working on complex SAP landscapes.

  • Lead application monitoring & support services for global customers across SAP environments including ECC 6.0, S/4HANA, CRM, SCM, BW/4HANA
  • Act as a First point of escalation for the customer in case of any issues or challenges from a technical delivery point of view
  • Versatile in handling complex and difficult customer discussions and interactions; aware of the escalation process in service execution
  • Ensure timely delivery of all work items, aligned to defined SLAs; assure process adherence and compliance by the team
  • Prepare Service Performance Reports (Monthly), Issue Tracker & Open Items (Weekly), and Continuous Improvement Reports (Monthly) for the customer
  • Collaborate & coordinate with customer and SAP Internal teams to drive agile resolution of critical issues
  • Sound understanding of SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run (FRUN), and ITSM ticketing tools to manage incidents and service delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement in process or service delivery and driving adoption of AI based automation
  • Provide Customer pulse, publish SLA & KPI reports and provide performance insights to leadership and stakeholders
  • A Guide or mentor to the delivery team from technical basis perspective – Basis, Security and Data Growth areas
  • Manage the team ensuring seamless handovers without any process breakdowns
Key Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis Administration including HANA DB, ABAP/Java stacks, and SAP landscape management
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud ALM, FRUN, and ITSM tools
  • Exposure to SAP modules and systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, CPI, CRM, SCM
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, for effective interaction with global stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to mentor team members, coordinate shift activities, and maintain high service quality
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
