Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with 4 to 5 years of experience and specialized knowledge in Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and analytics solutions in a cloud-based environment, leveraging the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Azure Databricks, ensuring data is processed efficiently and accurately.
  2. Implement and manage Delta Lake for efficient data storage and real-time analytics, enabling data consistency and reliability.
  3. Design and orchestrate ETL processes using Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into the data lake and data warehouse.
  4. Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, providing actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  6. Optimize data processing workflows for performance and cost-effectiveness within the Azure environment.
  7. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle, from ingestion to reporting.
  8. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability of the data platform.
  9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure cloud technologies and best practices, and apply them to improve the existing data infrastructure.
  10. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience in Python programming, with a focus on data engineering and analytics.
  • Strong experience with Azure Databricks for building and managing scalable data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Delta Lake for handling large datasets and real-time analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT processes and data orchestration.
  • Expertise in Power BI for developing data visualizations and business intelligence solutions.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and services within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Experience with SQL and working with both relational and non-relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with other Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Functions.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices within a cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data projects.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and experience working with data science teams.
  • Certification in Azure-related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate).
