Job Title: Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to administer our Linux-based systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the stability of our products using internal monitoring tools.
  • Provide L1/L2 support for all hosting services, including cpanel, plesk, vps, cloud, and dedicated servers.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes for various products and services.
  • Communicate clearly on tickets and phone calls regarding technical issues.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency in resolving technical problems.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Linux Systems, Shell/Bash scripting, sed/awk/grep/egrep, VI/VIM/Emacs editing, netstat, lsof, strace, ps/top/atop/dstat, grub boot configuration, fstab/disk labels, ext3/ext4 file systems, IPtables, sysstat (sar/vmstat/iostat etc), run-levels & startup scripts, sudo/chroot/chkrootkit/rkhunter.
  • Fundamentals: Basic DNS & Networking concepts, TCP/UDP protocols, IP Routing, HA & Load Balancing principles.
  • Application Protocols: SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP.
