Edge Computing Professional

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Edge Computing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge edge computing solutions that integrate 5G networks, cloud-edge integration, and AI at the edge.

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of 5G architecture, MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing), and IoT ecosystems, with hands-on experience in containerization and programming languages such as Python, C++, or Go.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Edge Computing Architectures: Develop scalable edge computing architectures leveraging 5G networks and cloud-edge integration.
  • Deploy and Optimize AI/ML Models: Deploy and optimize AI/ML models on edge devices for real-time inference and analytics.
  • Integrate Edge Platforms with Cloud Systems: Integrate edge platforms with cloud systems (AWS IoT Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, Google Edge TPU) for seamless data and workload management.
  • Develop Ultra-Reliable Solutions: Develop and tune edge solutions to support ultra-reliable, low-latency communication (URLLC) for IoT, AR/VR, Industry 4.0, and smart city applications.
  • Implement Security Protocols: Implement security protocols, data privacy, and compliance standards in edge deployments.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with network engineers, AI developers, and cloud teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Monitor and Optimize Edge Systems: Monitor, debug, and optimize edge systems for high availability and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Edge Computing: At least 36 years of experience in edge computing, cloud integration, and AI/ML deployment.
  • Strong Understanding of 5G Architecture: A strong understanding of 5G architecture, MEC (Multi-access Edge Computing), and IoT ecosystems.
  • Hands-on Experience with Containerization: Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, KubeEdge).
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Go.
  • AI/ML Frameworks: Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, OpenVINO, NVIDIA Jetson, etc.).
  • Real-Time Data Processing: Knowledge of real-time data processing (Kafka, MQTT, EdgeX Foundry, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their edge services.
