Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Arting Digital is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex Java applications, including system architecture and design patterns.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and design patterns for complex systems.
  • Review and refine system architecture to ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement new features and functionality based on requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and identify potential improvements.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best coding practices and problem-solving techniques.
  • Implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure software reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize Java applications for speed and efficiency.
  • Implement caching strategies, database optimizations, and other techniques to improve application performance.
  • Lead technical discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap and strategy for projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development practices and productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Java applications, including bugs, performance issues, and system failures.
  • Provide support for production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving production incidents and outages.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, codebase, and technical processes.
  • Document code, development processes, and system designs to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
  • Contribute to project planning and estimation, including defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java development.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and share knowledge with the development team.
