Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the sales team in executing day-to-day bond trades, providing last-mile conversion support and participating in joint client calls with relationship managers. They will also compile and share daily investment options by coordinating with vendors for updated product information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closely collaborate with the sales team to assist in executing day-to-day bond trades.
  • Provide last-mile conversion support and participate in joint client calls with relationship managers (RMs).
  • Resolve post-sales queries for both clients and the sales team.
  • Compile and share daily investment options by coordinating with vendors for updated product information.
  • Develop cash flow models and pricing for various bonds.
  • Track ratings of debt instruments, regularly updating the team on upgrades and downgrades.
  • Monitor and share insights on the ongoing debt mutual fund basket.
  • Train the sales team on all available products, ensuring strong product understanding and effective positioning.
  • Conduct research and analysis of various investment products in the fixed income market.
  • Ideate and propose strategies to promote onboarded debt products, including preparing creative materials for circulation.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, presentations, and product pitch content.
  • Drive business mobilization and revenue growth in Fixed Income and Structured Products through the sales team and digital channels.
  • Increase productivity and product penetration among the client base.
  • Build partnerships with asset management companies for new product launches.
  • Ensure synergy with other verticals of the organization for cross-selling and collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills Required

A graduate or postgraduate degree in finance, business, or a related field is required. NISM-Series-XXII: Fixed Income Securities Certification Examination is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Strong understanding of fixed income products, bond markets, and related financial instruments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to make quick and effective decisions under time constraints.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive and self-driven mindset with a focus on results.
